A unique observational film about a year on the inside of the world’s biggest football club at the worst moment in their history. FC Barcelona was on the verge of bankruptcy and was struggling to keep it’s place as a contender amongst Spain’s (let alone the world’s) football elite. That was until a bunch of impassioned 40-something enthusiasts won the club’s unique elections and started a revolution.
After signing Ronaldinho as the star of the new project, and Frank Rijkaard as coach, the team at first suffered even more defeats and tensions in the boardroom and club were running high. Soon though the results began to turn and FC Barcelona took their first steps towards their meteoric comeback, creating the foundation for what is now one of the greatest clubs of all time.
