Every week, huge audiences lap up ‘What Women Don’t Say’ (WWDS), a series designed to harness the power and popularity of telenovelas to educate about the plight of Mexican women.

Soap Box Mexico will be a character-driven, observational of WWDS. The overarching theme is how people make TV melodrama, and the tensions between that fiction and the reality of their work selves and their home selves.
